In March 2025, Top Plus Education Center Co., Ltd., a Korean educational institution also known as E-Top Plus, experienced a significant data breach4. The compromised database contained sensitive information of approximately 17,000 students, with the full database comprising 28 million lines of data. The exposed information included customer details such as user IDs, passwords, names, birth dates, gender, contact information, email addresses, postal codes, physical addresses, bank account details, and various other personal identifiers.
